The Launch of the ‘Hopper Portal

We’re happy to share the launch of the ‘Hopper Portal – it is the culmination of several months of work and 16k miles of exploration and discovery.

The vision behind the this portal is to showcase vibrant, free, family-friendly places to visit to learn about the diverse habitats on planet Earth. Each stop offers opportunities to learn about the natural world – critters, plants, ecosystems, habitats, and seasonality. I will continue to add new stops and information to the ‘Hopper Portal map  for each location around what is present known as the ‘lower 48’ United States.  Check out the very first feature of their tour of Dunwoody Nature Center in greater Atlanta, and learn more about using the ‘Hopper Portal by finding it on the “Resources” page.
